There are very few books that make laugh out loud with some invoking a light chuckle or a smile. The last book I read that had me in tears with laughter was Gail Honeyman's Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine. It had a way of adding humor to some of the darker undertones of the story that made it okay to see light in the situation, especially in understanding its main character. That is the similar feeling I had while reading Where'd You Go, Bernadette by Maria Semple.
